There were over 45 projects designed and built by the students as part of their fluids and mechanical efficiency units. As in any classroom, some of the results were truly outstanding. A very worthwhile experience by all!  We displayed the constructions in the cafeteria and invited all classes (gr.6,7&8) to come to our mini - fair.

They were constructed using 1 by 1 cm wood and dowelling was used instead of glue guns by most students. The hand-drill didn't work very well, so I drilled all the dowelling holes using a small power drill.  The students designed their mechanisms on graph paper (blueprints) prior to any construction.     (If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me)
